Peter is Head of Distribution for Orca Funds Management and has more than 20 years’ senior level industry experience working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions.

During his extensive career Peter has established and developed businesses across both domestic and global markets and has deep working knowledge and experience with sales and distribution, marketing, strategy, relationship and partnership management, product, risk and compliance.

He has previously held roles as Head of Business Management and Sales with BT Investment Solutions, with responsibility for Advance Asset Management and was also National Key Account Manager with the Asset Management division of Goldman Sachs JB Were.

Peter has a deep interest in how the confluence of technology-enabled disruption and new business models is reshaping the investment management industry.

Peter has a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics from the University of South Africa and has also completed the Executive Program – Corporate Strategy at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the Artificial Intelligence – Implications for Business Strategy Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
